Read on, here is more information on beard oils! During our production trials for transparency and your reference when choosing a beard face oil. There is something called DHT Blockers that can negatively impact facial hair growth. Stands for dihydrotestosterone, is the androgen hormone responsible for beard growth. It is derived by testosterone through the enzyme 5AR 5a-reductase. Testosterone and local androgenuc sensitivity also affects beard/hair growth.
DHT = GOOD for beard growth
DHT = BAD for hair on the head
DHT is good for facial hair growth. Avoid oils and ingredients that block (inhibit) DHT if you want to grow a fuller beard. Such as Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, MCST Coconut Oil, peppermint oil, squalene and sunflower oil (which is also goof for acne).
Bad for beard growth are the following: Coconut oil, Emu oil, Finestride, Lavender oil, Pumpkin seed oil, Rosemary oil and Tea tree oil. All due to a high fatty acid range.
