When should you use a beard oil? Frequently depends on the state of your beard and personal desires. Plōōm beard face oil is light enough you can apply it every day. If can be used on any length beard. Just don’t wait until your beard conceals the skin beneath as at that point the follicles get coarser and harder to tame.
How to Apply Beard Oil? Wash your beard with a quality beard shampoo Towel or blow-dry (depending on thickness)the beard hair Apply beard oil following the bottle instructions - 2-5 drops Use a comb or your fingers to smooth out and style the beard hair.

Read on, here is more information on beard oils! During our production trials for transparency and your reference when choosing a beard face oil. There is something called DHT Blockers that can negatively impact facial hair growth. Stands for dihydrotestosterone, is the androgen hormone responsible for beard growth. It is derived by testosterone through the enzyme 5AR 5a-reductase. Testosterone and local androgenuc sensitivity also affects beard/hair growth.
DHT = GOOD for beard growth
DHT = BAD for hair on the head
DHT is good for facial hair growth. Avoid oils and ingredients that block (inhibit) DHT if you want to grow a fuller beard. Such as Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, MCST Coconut Oil, peppermint oil, squalene and sunflower oil (which is also goof for acne).
Bad for beard growth are the following: Coconut oil, Emu oil, Finestride, Lavender oil, Pumpkin seed oil, Rosemary oil and Tea tree oil. All duty to a high fatty acid range.

Argan Oil - Rich in vitamin E and F (alpha-tocopherol) plus squalene, two powerful antioxidant and skin regenerators. Hydrates the skin and increases elasticity. Protects and softens the skin, anti-aging benefits, and reduces hyperpigmentation. Assists in wound healing and helps prevent acne by reducing sebum production.
Calendula Botanical Herb - Otherwise known as Marigold packed with carotenoids which act as an antioxidant and defend against aging free radicals. Healing herb for the skin. Decreases redness, inflammation and works on varicose veins, bruises, hyperpigmentation, and soothes dry, itchy, irritated skin.
Carrot Seed Oil - Greatly improves tone, elasticity and overall appearance. Slows aging and calms irritated skin.
Castor Oil - Moisturises the skin and promotes healing and pain relief. Analgesic, anti-inflammatory and a disinfectant. Contains 90% ricinoleic acid. Strong detox and purging properties. Increases skin cell turnover.
Cedarwood Essential Oil - Cedarwood oil is grounding, centering and quiets thoughts. It is antifungal, antiseptic, and soothes irritation. It’s antimicrobial, wound healing and assists with respiratory balance.
Cocoa Butter - Extremely moisturising for dry, chapped skin. Deep moisturiser, can be used on rough patches of the skin such as elbows, knees, and feet.
Grapefruit Essential Oil - Evanescent bittersweet citrus that has an invigorating uplifting effect on the body in the morning. Is an antidepressive, promotes positive thinking, helps us let go. It’s an antiseptic, disinfectant, helps dull skin look supple and toned.
Hemp Seed Oil - Skin softening and moisturising properties. Reduces redness and inflammation, great treatment for eczema, psoriasis and dry itchy skin.
Hinoki - Japanese Cypress Wood. Scent is woodsy, fresh, herbal and spicy. Naturally derived wood calms prefrontal brain activity and relaxes the human body. Inhaling the aroma of naturally derived dried wood has reported feelings of relaxation and comfort.
Jojoba Oil - Jojoba is balancing for all skin types. Helps dry skin, wrinkles, acne. Contains fatty alcohols, essential fatty acids and omega-9. Is anti-inflammatory and wound healing.
Myrhh Essential Oil - Earthy balsamic scent adds warmth and richness. Is an antiseptic, astringent, disinfectant and deoderant. Great for itchy, cracked, dry skin.

Pumpkin Seed Oil - Hydrates, renews and increases the firmness of skin.
Rice Bran - High in antioxidants and sterols that protect and moisturises the skin and encourages cell regeneration. High in essential fatty acids, gamma oryzanola.
Roman Chamomile Essential Oils - Has wound healing properties.
Vetiver Essential Oil - Woodsy, herbal and spicy. Grounding, smoky and earthy. Commonly used for oily skin, acne, muscle aches. Balances sebum.
