Sarah Plumer chakra foundation healing root root chakra

The 1st, Root Chakra is located in the base of the spine, the last 3 vetebrae, pelvis plexus, the anus, large intestines, feet and legs. It stores positivity, stability and connection. It allows us to channel our inner needs for belonging by connecting with our surroundings. It allows us to take care of our well-being, physically, mentally and emotionally.

1. Recognising Blockages and Key Contributors: The Root Chakra, located at the base of the spine, governs our sense of security and stability. Signs of blockage include fear, insecurity, financial stress, anxiety, and a feeling of disconnection from the physical world. Key contributors may include trauma, family issues, or a lack of basic needs, food, shelter, money, safety, security and survival.

2. Physical Systems and Body Pain: A blocked Root Chakra can manifest as lower back pain, knee issues, or problems with the legs. Imbalances may affect the adrenal glands and the immune system, leading to chronic health concerns.

3. Spiritual Connection: The Root Chakra grounds us to the Earth, fostering a sense of belonging and stability. When balanced, it allows spiritual energies to flow freely, connecting us to the vitality of the Earth.

4. Steps to Heal the Blockage:

  • Focus on the present moment.
  • Grounding exercises, such as walking barefoot on natural surfaces.
  • Root Chakra affirmations to reinforce feelings of safety and security.
  • Addressing and resolving past traumas through therapy or energy healing.
  • Listen to the frequency  396 Hz to reduce feelings of guilt. Helping to overcome feelings of fear.

5. Healing Practices:

  • Movement: Yoga poses like Mountain Pose and Tree Pose. Tai Chi and dancing.
  • Meditation focusing on the breath and visualisation of roots connecting to the Earth.
  • Using grounding red and earthy crystals - brown Jasper, Red Jasper, Smoky Quartz, Hematite, Cuprite, Mahogany Obsidian, Tourmaline, Rhodonite, Garnet and Bloodstone - place the crystals nearby to your root chakra or feet area. Use them while meditating or resting.
  • Surround yourself with the colour red decor, art, clothes, accessories
  • Diet - RED foods and root vegetables for Stability and Self-Awareness such as tomatoes, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, red apples, peppers, pomegranates and beets. Turmeric Ginger Tea to it. Root vegetables like potatoes, carrots, beets, fennel, onions, radishes.

6. Opening of the Chakra: As the Root Chakra opens, individuals often experience a newfound sense of security, stability, and a deep connection to the physical world. Anxiety and stress may diminish, allowing for a more profound sense of peace. You should feel grounded, confident, strong in the world, well-balanced and sensible, stable and secure. You don't distrust people around you for no reason. You feel present in what is happening right now, and very connected to your physical body and whats around you
